About Alessandra

Alessandra Miele, FMCHC, NBC-HWC is a Functional Medicine Health Coach who bridges the space between a doctor’s plan and daily life. She helps families decide what to do first, translate recommendations into plain language, and build routines that last—in collaboration with functional medicine providers. Alessandra meets individuals and families where they are—logistically and emotionally—so the plan fits real life. Her approach is inspired by Dr. Sidney Baker, whose emphasis on the body’s natural propensity toward healing—and the use of biomedical interventions and detoxification—guided her own family’s healing and informs how she supports others today.

Born in Italy and having moved to the U.S. as a teenager, Alessandra understands how multicultural influences—food traditions, family dynamics, and communication styles—shape lifestyle and health choices. Before coaching, she founded and owned a boutique yoga studio; that background—together with her ongoing mind–body practices—influences her steady, grounded approach and focus on sustainable change and small steps that hold.

Alessandra’s passion is to support and guide families embarking on a functional medicine approach to assist their children in healing. Her work extends beyond autism to support children with ADHD, anxiety, sensory sensitivities, or other developmental challenges—even without a diagnosis—using the same individualized, root-cause framework.

Committed to staying current, Alessandra continues her training in functional and translational pediatrics through MAPS (Medical Academy of Pediatric Special Needs) and advances her skills with Autism Mastery coursework—so families receive support that is careful, up-to-date, and practical.

I’d be honored to support your family as you take the next step in your child’s healing journey.
