About Alessandra

Alessandra Miele, FMCHC, NBC-HWC is a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach who helps families understand the why behind their child’s symptoms and begin making changes that support real healing. She guides parents in connecting the dots between symptoms, nutrition, environment, and lifestyle—and what changes may best support recovery.

Alessandra helps families take the first steps in understanding and addressing their child’s symptoms, often starting with functional lab insights that reveal where to focus first. From there, she helps create a clear, strategic plan that evolves in collaboration with their providers to keep care cohesive and well-supported.

Her approach is inspired by Dr. Sidney Baker, whose focus on the body’s natural capacity to heal—and the use of biomedical interventions and detoxification—guided her own family’s recovery journey and continues to inform her work today.

Born in Italy and having moved to the U.S. as a teenager, Alessandra understands how cultural traditions, family dynamics, and communication styles influence health choices. Before coaching, she founded and owned a boutique yoga and Pilates studio in downtown Boston; that experience—together with her ongoing mind–body practices—shapes her steady, grounded approach focused on sustainable change and small steps that last.

Alessandra’s passion is helping families navigate a functional medicine approach to autism and related challenges, including ADHD, anxiety, sensory sensitivities, and developmental delays—even without a diagnosis—using the same individualized, root-cause framework.

Committed to ongoing learning, she continues her professional development in Functional and Translational Pediatrics through MAPS (Medical Academy of Pediatric Special Needs) and Autism Mastery coursework, ensuring families receive support that is thoughtful, current, and practical.

I’d be honored to support your family as you take the next step in your child’s healing journey.
